My PCS-to-PCS minutes for the month of December: 3933
Egg Nog
I’m in Kansas City with my family for Christmas. “I can’t imagine life without a computer,” sighed my eight year-old sister Faith; “Or a TV!” chimed in Mark (5) enthusiastically. Apparently the glowing screen has captured the world -
Couch Potato
I have a confession to make to the world at large. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is an altruistic act of humility, rather I have to “fess up,” have to save face because jimi already leaked my secret to the world. Jed just bought the 3rd season of 24 on DVD. Previously I had ridiculed my roomates for giving their entire lives to 24 (whenever a new season came out on DVD, cause none of us were ever available when it actually showed on television). One semester to go; indeed, this fact was celebrated by a free private preview lunch today at the newest Panera (courtesy of J, the Panera’s best new employee). Of course, my holiday will definitely be busy. I’m planning on reading some books (Don Miller’s latest, perhaps some NT Wright, and maybe some doses of Pynchon and/or Hemingway), and I’ll be warming up my mind for my upcoming LSAT. Those things, along with preparing for one of the great events of next year (B. is moving here very soon!), will surely keep me busy ’til the bell rings, an angel gets its wings, and another year goes sliding into...
