Britt and I have looked forward for a long time to the day that we would be together. One of the reasons was so that we could collaborate together musically–to share our talents and passions with each other and perhaps to inspire others with our creative expression. We never really imagined that the “inspire others” part would blossom so fully.

We wrote a song together shortly after she arrived. It turned out very well; a nice singable hook and the right sort of rhythm to really make it go. We both thought we might have something with the song, and after playing it for one of the guys in my church band (who also happens to be a producer for a mid-sized local label), we were invited to record it as a single and then to submit it to an “Emerging Christian Artist” contest.

I had to pull a few strings, but I really wanted to spread the word on this song–I think it could definitely be a blessing to you; anyway, I got permission to offer it as a free download for 1 week on my blog. I’m so excited! The Lord really blessed us with this opportunity and I’m curious as to where it might lead. I hope it encourages you. Tell me what you think…

    great song. I sounds pretty much like what I would expect from an “emerging Christian artist” except the quality of songwriting is a bit better than most. Great stuff man.

    What a song…I have listened to it about 10 times hopeing just once it will be something different. I have never been more turned off from music in my life i am tearing my stereo out of my car and never giveing music the chance to disapiont me like that agian.

    p.s. I think the lyrics could have made a good poem, I want them on my tombstone!!!
