Seek those images that constitute the wild, the lion and the virgin, the harlot and the child. Find in middle air an eagle on the wing, recognize the five that make the Muses sing. | W.B Yeats, Those Images

[] I’ve been tearing through pulp fiction recently. Read Hitchhiker’s Guide… and Bone (an “illustrated novel”) in record time–no epiphanies, no comments, just fun. Bone was over 1300 pages long and I read it in about 3 days.

[] I’m drinking incredibly dark coffee right now. I was at Starbucks yesterday and bought the absolute strongest beans possible. They look like they were soaked in oil… But the brew is good indeed.

[] I went rollerblading in the dark the other night with Britt and ended up swallowing a bug.

[] I’m seriously contemplating a “post of substance” (to use a friend’s phrase) in regard to the indelible effects of Leadership on Community Culture (don’t steal the idea:).

Posts Of Substance are good, but “slices” definitely have their place.

Does this mean you finished Orthodoxy?

  2. I was almost done with Orthodoxy when you left your comment. Thankfully, your question was just the thing to spur me on to completion. I finished Mr. Chesterton’s book less than five minutes ago and sit here content, with a warm smile tugging at my mouth.

Well, go on and elaborate, would you?

Also…I’m sorry to have to inform you that I just wrote a post on the indelible effects of Leadership on Community Culture. I called it “Who Rules the Hood?”…but what can I say? Same themes. Guess I subconsciously swiped your idea. Sorry.

Sounds like you have been busy lately (swallowing bugs of course).
