I need stronger thighs. And better lungs.
I had soccer practice last night–1 hour of intense indoor play. Hey, better to get the worst out in practice rather than at the first game, right? I mean, second worst is better than first worst. I am happy to say that my earlier efforts at body maintenance made a recognizable difference (i.e. I didn’t fall on my face and see stars).

Far better to smooth out the wrinkles in practice. I’ve been getting some pickup basketball in with my siblings for this very purpose…”practice” before I go play with strangers. Don’t tell the fam I said that though.
