Black Bears

The car is all packed up (gear shoved in the trunk) and the tank is mostly full. Ohio seems less like a desert today, which is good because I can’t sleep well when it’s really hot.

Britt and I are going camping this weekend. She’s never been to Hocking Hills.

Pray that we see a bear.

Be safe. Have fun. And here’s hoping for no Grizzly Man moments.

My wife probably wouln’t mind the fox moment from Grizzly Man, but everything else can stay on the silver screen!

    (you’re welcome :)

Hocking? Almost skipped over there today and might tomorrow. Ash cave is beautiful (and Old Man’s is a great picnic hike)–let me know if you hike(d) Grandma Gatewood!

Psst–I have a letterbox at Cedar Falls–wish I knew you were headed out!

Hope you come back w/some great pics.

Didn’t hike Grandma Gatewood, but did Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, and my personal favorite: Rock House.

A letterbox at Cedar Falls? Sounds whimsical and mysterious! Is it a real life letterbox or more of a cache?

On the way down we accidently drove quite a ways past Logan (even got close to Athens ;) because we got distracted playing the “Flag Game.” Britt won and I nearly crashed several times trying to get the lead back and ended up driving nearly 50 extra miles.

Lots of great pictures, I’ll post some of them soon.
