Six O’Clock Vintage

Seek those images that constitute the wild, the lion and the virgin, the harlot and the child. Find in middle air an eagle on the wing, recognize the five that make the Muses sing. | W.B Yeats, Those Images

Liquid Chrome

I went mountain biking on Saturday with some friends. We rode the trail at Alum Creek State Park, which twists and turns along ravines and along this very section of the lake. I took these images the night before our ride (I wanted to check how muddy the trail was).

“(I wanted to check how muddy the trail was).”
sure you did! I’m guessing you were actually laying booby traps for your friends who are now probably lying very still on the bottom of the lake. :P

  3. swimming with the fishes…

The beauty of a thing seems more evident when it is about to die; maybe that is why I love the fall. Or maybe I love the fall and that statement seems to explain something about the fall. Hmm.

You seem to also love reflections . . . liquid visions of what hangs above . . .

That explains it! you were looking for a good place to push them into the lake, then take a picture of them while they die!! I didn’t know my own brother was so cruel and heartless. (im impressed! :P

  6. I do love reflections.

I think it’s because they show beauty in a new way, without doing away with the original beauty itself. The flies and leaves in the water, the outwardly expanding ripples and the vibrancy of light’s refraction give a unique taste to things.

  7. great pictures man
