Snowed In

Acar-icicles-sm.jpg

few hours of heavy snow fall followed by a thick layer of freezing sleet brought most of the state of Ohio to a halt yesterday and today. This morning I thought I might have to go to work, but just as I was trying to pry open my frozen car door I got the call that work was closed for the day. By the look of things I’d say there’s a chance I could be sitting at home tomorrow too.

Coffee, literature and food have been the order of the day. Thank God for coffee.

Hi Timothy! Glad you found this new blog; it can be difficult to start somewhere new when you’ve been trenched in elsewhere for so long.

Coffee as “liquid grace?” I like that–kind of like an even holier “living water.” I wonder if Jesus were around today if he would break bread with coffee instead of with wine…

So you’ll be in KC for 8 weeks? That seems to have you leaving after Easter, which means there is a chance we could connect. Britt and I are tentatively thinking about a trip back over Easter. I’ll let you know.
