Volume: 11

I’ve been shockingly busy lately, and I’m nursing a cold. But I think a bit of extra promotion for the big event tomorrow is in order. This weekend is marked by the second Annual Global Summit on AIDS. Heritage will be recognizing World AIDS Day on Friday, December 1st, by hosting a Benefit Event. Here’s the official description: On Dec. 1, 2006, Heritage Christian Church, 7413 Maxtown Rd., Westerville, will sponsor a World AIDS Day Benefit. The event is free with opportunities provided to give love donations that will benefit Heritage’s Bless Kenya partnership in Africa. Arena Tour

Saw this and couldn’t resist (HT: noel): Longtime readers will undoubtedly instantly recognize the inspiration behind my grammy-chasing side-career. Willow Trees & Ivy

Here are the pictures of that extraordinary mansion I described recently. I’ve been asking around about the house, but nobody seems to know anything about it. Naturally, a gigantic brick...

The world is full of remarkable groups set on propagating “the most important thing,” or the “thing that has been most neglected,” or indeed: “the thing that is most ludicrous.” But the extraordinary action group of lobbyists known as The Cartographers for Social Equality do not seem to immediately fit into any category (well, maybe they do…). Perhaps, say you, the supposition that Cartographers are at all connected to Social Equality is completely inane and that Tim (I, me, the author) is merely waxing ridiculously about in regard to some peculiar episode of that one television show (The West Wing). Ah, but you do me injustice… If you actually spend the time to think about it (after all, you are reading this post)...
